If you are arriving on the A1 Northbound, to avoid conjestion in Alnwick Town Centre we suggest that you do not take the first junction signposted for Alnwick, but instead remain on the A1 and take the Denwick turn-off, clearly signposted with the brown signs for The Alnwick Garden.
If you’re travelling from the south side of the Tyne, one of the most convenient routes to The Alnwick Garden is through the Tyne Tunnels:
Enter the Tyne Tunnels and follow signs for A19 North.
Continue on the A19 then join the A1 (North) and follow signs for The Alnwick Garden.
