Special mention to Daisy for helping us so much over the weekend and on the day itself. Being able to pivot and change when we had to move the ceremony inside, and then having the knowledge to know where to pick up a bottle of Macallan as I’m a plonker and didn’t buy one prior to the weekend. Making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes to the point where we didn’t notice and were just able to get on with and enjoy our day, and just being so helpful overall whenever I had any last minute queries or suggestions, or I wanted something slightly different

We are very much on cloud 9, we have had so many positive comments about
how wonderful Thursday was (I still get emotional when anyone mentions
it being so magical) and can you thank the kitchen staff as a lot of
our guests have told us it’s the best wedding food they have ever had.
It was one of the best days of my life.
We had an absolutely brilliant wedding at the Treehouse and wish we could do it all over again! Responses from the hospitality team were quick in the run up to the wedding and we really appreciated the planning and tasting meeting which answered lots of our questions. It was also really helpful being able to talk through all of the set up and logistics the day before. The team on the day were absolutely amazing, really friendly and helpful. They turned around the different rooms really quickly and made our decor look better than we could have imagined. The venue looked beautiful and staff ensured everything ran really smoothly, helping our guests out with lots of extra little things like needing slippers when their feet got tired. All of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was and we loved being able to incorporate lots of unique aspects, such as sparklers, into our day. Really big thank you to Daisy and the team for ensuring we had the absolute best day

Daisy has been a dream come true during this experience. We fell in love with the Treehouse when we first saw it, and booked it straight away. We were passed between a few co-ordinators before we landed with Daisy, who reassured us and shared her knowledge and expertise every step of the way, down to the smallest detail. When visiting, all staff have been very polite and friendly, and we’d also like to call out Mel, Lydia and the Bar Manager (a man whose name I didn’t get) for helping bring our dream day to life. The set up was brilliant and our guests were so happy with the quality of experience, food, drinks – everything! We’d also like to call out how useful your Wedding Fayre was, as we’re not local and didn’t know where to start with our vendors. Most of those we booked, we did so from the fayre. Thank you to all staff that helped make our dream day come true!

The Planning process for the day was made simple and easy. It felt structured, with timelines, templates, floor plans etc. Great communication and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our ideas and suggestions were listened to and actioned – e.g. moving the dancefloor, how we’d use different tables, photos in the garden etc. Feels weird reducing 2 years of planning to such a simple phrase, but planning was a breeze.
On the day, Daisy and the team were incredibly helpful. I got there early expecting to do a lot of the setup myself, but it was pretty much all done when I arrived, which was a huge help. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. They also did a great job of moving people to the right places at the right times and generally facilitating the day so that everything went as smoothly as it could.
The food was incredible. We received so many compliments on how great the wedding breakfast meal was, particularly the beef, so we’re very happy with our choices. Please pass our compliments on to the kitchen staff.
While we had the occasional challenge along the way, we all worked together to quickly find a solution and get things moving again – like when our TV suddenly stopped working for no reason. If I ever needed anything, I was always able to find someone and whatever I asked for was dealt with immediately. All-in-all, it was a fantastic day supported by fantastic people.
Special shout-out to Daisy for jumping into action and helping us find a missing wedding ring after our owl ring-bearer accidentally dropped it 20 feet below the decking into a pile of leaves! She absolutely saved the day. She was also really fun and just great to work with – she totally understood the tone/vibe of our wedding and really helped us deliver the wedding we always wanted.
We can’t thank everyone enough for all of their help, we had the best day and will be back to celebrate many more anniversaries – we’re already booked in for lunch on 1st December for a 1 month anniversary meal, if that’s even a thing

The whole experience from initial meeting to booking to planning and the day itself was absolutely perfect, we can’t think of a single thing that could have been better. We dealt with Lydia, Daisy and Cerys at various points throughout the journey and can’t fault any of them – they were professional, well organised, responsive to all our queries and requests and clearly really passionate about the venue and giving couples the most amazing experience. No request was too difficult, even a pineapple!
The venue itself is magical and we loved how the restaurant is decorated. Everything on the day was really clean, well presented and set up how we had planned. Cerys was the co-ordinator on the day and did an amazing job of keeping everything running smoothly. She kept the 2 brides nicely separated and made sure neither of us had naughty sneak peeks! Cerys became as much a part of the day as our guests, we loved having her there to share the day with. She was happy, professional and it really looked like she loved what she does. We had nothing but compliments from our guests about the venue and how the day ran.
All the restaurant and bar staff were great as well, highly professional, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were a great credit to Alnwick Garden and Treehouse.
When we booked we had no idea about the charity arm of the Garden/Treehouse that events revenue goes towards supporting. When we found out about this it really touched us and we think it’s definitely something you should promote more! As people local to the area it made the day even more special to know that in some way we are giving something back to our own community, something that is important to us both.
Thank you so much to all the team and especially to Cerys on the day, it literally was the best day of our lives and the beautiful venue made it so – we didn’t want a bland corporate space and what we got was a truly magical experience in a truly magical space. Everything went perfectly to plan and that was due to the hard work and dedication of Cerys and the staff, the whole day was more perfect than we could ever have imagined.

The Treehouse was the perfect venue for our wedding, and the staff made everything easy through in-person planning meetings and email communication. It was so helpful to have everything set up for us in the venue and the instructions we provided were followed perfectly. Everything ran smoothly and all of the guests felt welcomed and enjoyed the setting, which was beautiful despite the poor weather! The food was delicious and all special dietary requests were catered for. It was nice to be able to go into the gardens to take pictures with our photographer as well. We had an amazing day, thanks again!

A special mention for Daisy, Lydia and the other staff on the day of the wedding. Thank you for holding off moving the chairs inside and allowing us to have our ceremony outside. I know it was very touch and go with the weather, but we are both so thrilled that it worked out the way it did. We really appreciate that you did everything in your power to give us the wedding that we dreamed of, even when doing so made your job that little bit harder and more stressful. What was a day at work for you is a lifetime of memories for us, so your thoughtfulness and efforts were not lost on us. Thank you! Also, I know this might seem trivial, but thank you for always using “reply all” when responding to both of us in the run up to the wedding. Weddings very famously involve two people, yet you would be surprised at the number of vendors who consistently only replied to one of us which led to mixed up email threads and confusion over which one of us had the latest email. Thanks for that. A small thing, but we did appreciate it.
