Christine Heslop

One of the founders of Earth and Essence

Christine is passionate about all aspects of yoga and the benefits it can bring to all people. She has always have a soft spot for Ashtanga Yoga. Chris is one of the leading Ashtanga  teachers in the North East.

Ashtanga Yoga was Christine’s first introduction to yoga (over 20 years ago) and has stayed with her ever since. It’s the style she returned to again and again over the years, shaped by some amazing teachers and her teacher training with Lalit Kumar in India.  Ashtanga is a simple, powerful practice that works the whole body through breath and movement. She particularly loves its authenticity , it’s clear structure and how, by repeating the sequence, you can really see and feel your progress over time — weeks, months, and years of steady practice.

Christine is looking forward to sharing this practice with you on Saturday 10.30am.
