The Alnwick Garden plays host to the small but deadly Poison Garden, kept behind black iron gates, only open on guided tours. It is filled with around 100 toxic, intoxicating, and narcotic plants, some which grown unwittingly in back gardens, and which can be found in the British countryside.
Upon your tour myths and legends are uncovered alongside gruesome scientific fact and history. How much do you know about the plants you grow? DO YOU DARE TO ENTER?
Visitors are strictly prohibited from smelling, touching, or tasting any plants. Or as as The Poison Garden guides say 'NO PICKIN' NO LICKIN''
Tours last approx 20 minutes.
