  • Who is eligible for the 20% June Membership Deals?
  • This offer applies to new members and existing members with less than one month remaining on their current membership. Members with more than one month left are not eligible for early renewal. 

  • Which memberships are included in the offer?
  • The 20% discount applies to the following memberships:

    • Garden Individual – £32.00 (was £40)
    • Garden Individual plus Guest – £64.00 (was £80)
    • Lilidorian – £84.80 (was £106)
    • Lilidorei Individual – £114.40 (was £143)
    • Lilidorei Individual plus Guest – £131.20 (was £164)
    • Combined Garden and Lilidorei Individual – £131.20 (was £164)
    • Combined Garden and Lilidorei Individual plus Guest – £148.80 (was £186)
  • When does this offer end?
  • The June Membership Deals are available from 8th to 14th June, so make sure to purchase by 14th June to take advantage the discount. This offer is available until 14th June, with the promotion ending at 17:00.

  • Can I use this discount to renew my existing membership early?
  • This discount is available if your membership is due to expire within one month. If your membership has more than one month left, please wait until your renewal window opens to renew.

  • How do I purchase a discounted membership?
  • You can buy your membership online via our website, on the phone (call Bookings Team) or in person at our admissions desk. Simply select your preferred membership type, and the 20% discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

  • Will I receive the same membership benefits with the discounted offer?
  • Yes! All discounted membership come with the same great benefits, including unlimited visits for 12 months, exclusive event discount, priority booking, and 20% off standard tickets (depending on your membership type).

  • Can I purchase multiple memberships at the same time?
  • Yes, you can purchase multiple memberships for family members or as gifts, as long as they fall within the eligible membership types listed above.

  • What happens if I buy a membership but can’t use it immediately?
  • Your membership will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Can I upgrade my membership later?
  • Yes, if you wish to upgrade your membership (e.g. from Garden-only Individual to Combined Individual), you can do so at any time by paying the price difference. Please visit our admissions desk for assistance.

  • What is an Individual Plus Guest Membership?
  • An Individual Plus Memberships allows the named member to bring any guest when visiting The Garden, Lilidorei or both.

  • Can anyone use my membership card?
  • No. Membership cards can only be used by the named cardholder.

  • Can I lend my membership to someone else?
  • No. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • What does my Friends Membership include?
  • Friends of The Alnwick Garden members enjoy:

    • Unlimited access to The Garden during seasonal opening hours and up to four free children per visiting member for 12 months from the date of purchase.
    • Free exclusive membership parking
    • Priority booking and preferential prices for special events
    • 10% discount in The Pavilion Kitchen
    • 10% discount in The Bakery
    • 10% discount on Ice Cream (Ice Cream Kiosk only)
    • 10% discount in The Potting Shed (only open during Northumberland school holidays)
    • 10% discount on Adventure Golf (not available during Northumberland school holidays)
    • 10% discount on selected items in The Pinery Gift Shop and Plant Centre (T&Cs not to be used in conjunction with any other offer, and is not applicable on alcoholic drinks, and local concessions)

    The person named on the card MUST be present on the day of the visit to gain entry. If the named person is not present, the group will be denied access.

  • How long does a Membership take to process?
  • Please allow up to 48 hours for your membership to be processed.

  • How long does a Membership last for?
  • Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please note that The Garden is closed on Christmas Day, and throughout January. Additionally, there may be instances when The Garden and Treehouse close earlier than usual, or the Treehouse may be closed for the entire day due to private events. To prevent any inconvenience, we recommend checking our website before your visit.

  • Who qualifies as a child?
  • A child is anyone aged under 16 years old and under. Individual and Individual Plus Guest memberships includes free admissions for up to four children.

  • What is Gift Aid and how does it work?
  • Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 they receive from a UK taxpayer. If you’re a UK taxpayer we can claim 25p for every £1 you pay on membership subscriptions, at no extra cost to you.

  • How does my Membership help The Alnwick Garden Trust?
  • The generous support from our members enables us to give back to the community through our various charitable programs. Please see our Social Impact Report to gain insight into the significant difference your contributions have made within our community.

  • Can I take a carer for free if I have a Membership?
  • We offer a carer ticket for visitors who are accompanying a disabled guest. Please call the Bookings Team on 01665 511350, option 1 to request a carer ticket. Proof of entitlement must be present with you on the day of your visit.

  • How do I book a Poison Garden Tour?
  • Individual and Corporate Members are eligible for free Poison Garden Tour admission*

    Please pre-book your slot in advance and you will need your membership number and postcode to book.
