Over the weekend you can enjoy:
- Welly wanging and other village fete games provided by Alnwick & District Round Table
- Rides and inflatables
- Community performers
- Market Stall Holders in The Pavilion (Saturday - Food and Craft Market / Sunday - Dog Lovers’ Market).

Saturday 15th - The Alnwick Garden Show Competition
Judged categories for flowers, veg, cakes with rosettes in the show marquee on the lawn. More information on show categories see below.

Bring along your dog, as it's Sunday one of our Dog Days why not enter your pooch in our dog show.

Saturday 15th - The Alnwick Garden Show Categories

ROSE COMPETITION
- Single rose in a vase
- 3 roses of the same variety in a vase
- Vase of mixed roses in collaboration with the Alnwick spring show

POISON COMPETITION
“All entries must be handled, transported, and displayed safely. Clearly label plants and avoid exposing others to unnecessary risk.”

Poisonous Plant in a Pot
“A living specimen of a toxic or poisonous plant, grown in a container. Entries should showcase species known for harmful effects through ingestion, skin contact, or inhalation. Plants must be safely contained and clearly labelled.”

Deadliest Bouquet
“A cut arrangement composed entirely or predominantly of poisonous plants. Judges will consider both aesthetic impact and the toxic reputation of the species included. Beauty is essential—but so is lethality.”

Scariest-Looking Plant
“A plant whose appearance alone suggests danger. Entries may include unusual, sinister, or grotesque forms, with preference given to species that combine visual menace with genuine toxicity.

FLORAL ART
- 25 years display – a floral celebration of 25 years at The Alnwick Garden
- Mixed garden flowers in a vase
- Bouquet including weeds- a collection of flowers that shows beauty from unexpected places including plants classified as weeds

VEG COMPETITION
- 3 mixed veg on a plate
- Heaviest potato
- Biggest onion as pulled with top
- Wonkiest veg (vegetable most unusual when compared with its usual counterpart)
- Bouquet of herbs

BAKING COMPETITION
- Victoria sandwich cake baked in one tin, jam filled, no sugar dusting.
- Cake made with a vegetable (vegetable to be stated)
- 1 Jar of fruit jam labelled and sealed
- 1 jar of chutney labelled and sealed
- 4 fruit scones
- 1 tier home-made cake decorated to celebrate 25 years of The Alnwick Garden

KIDS COMPETITION
- The age stated is that on the day of the show.
- A child, for this event, is someone under 16 on the day of the show.
- Best potato person
- Animal made from veg
- Decorated home-made biscuit celebrating 25 years of The Alnwick Garden.
