Thursday 15th October – 10:30am
Join Si King, one half of the much-loved hairy bikers, as he attends The Alnwick Playhouse for a special in-conversation event and book signing following his new cookbook, Proper Home Cooking.
Suzy Walker, from Alnwick StoryFest, will be joining Si on stage to interview him about his new book, his love of food and cooking, and the stories behind the recipes. Following the conversation, there will be an opportunity to buy Proper Home Cooking and have it signed by Si.
Proceeds from ticket sales will support The Bright Garden Appeal, a joint fundraising appeal from The Alnwick Garden and Bright Northumbria Healthcare Charity.
The appeal is dedicated to improving lives through the power of gardens – creating places of calm and connection for patients, families, NHS staff and local communities when they need them most. While supporting The Alnwick Garden’s charitable work to help people age well, combat childhood obesity, build confidence, educate and inspire.
