Technology can be part of the solution to loneliness and isolation, connecting people at a distance and providing access to essential services online. Do you need help using your phone, sending emails, taking/finding photos with your mobile device? If so, come along to a friendly, volunteer-led session on basic IT skills. Call in for a cuppa, relax, learn and gain knowledge about using different IT gadgets.
Bring your phone, iPad or other device; we will also have iPads available.
On the first Wednesday of each month, we have staff from Northumberland Sensory Services attending to assist. A staff member from Deaflink will attendon a bi-monthly basis, on the last Wednesday of the month, starting February. This is dependent on staff availability.
The Elderberries Programmes aim is to reach the local community and to enrich the lives of everyone over the age of 55 who attend.
