Introducing our brand-new Sloe Gin!

Inspired by The Alnwick Garden, we are delighted to unveil our brand-new Sloe Gin just in time for the festive period!

This special release is perfect for slow sipping and special occasions.

Our Sloe Gin has been perfectly crafted by steeping sloe berries into our gin, allowing the flavours to infuse slowly and deeply. The result is a beautifully balanced, rich and fruit-forward Sloe Gin, with notes of ripe berries and warming pepper.

This classic British favourite with a rich, fruit twist can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a prosecco to create your very own Sloe Royale cocktail!

You can shop our new Sloe Gin in The Alnwick Garden Gift Shop or online here.

Climate Action Hub installs wildlife cameras!

The Alnwick Garden has switched on three wildlife cameras along its woodland walk with three more to launch in Spring. The cameras stream live into the Climate Action Hub and Apiary, as well as YouTube, giving visitors a front-row seat to the birds, insects and mammals that call The Garden home.

The cameras mark the latest step in The Garden’s ongoing fight against climate change and will become a central resource for its education programmes.

Our CEO, Mark Brassel said:

“By watching pollinators at work and wildlife going about its day in real time, visitors of all ages will gain a deeper appreciation of the delicate balance nature depends on, and a clearer understanding of the part we all have to play in helping restore it.”

Volunteers from The Drop-In Centre have supported with The Climate Action Hub and Apiary. The above plaque is dedicated to all of our wonderful volunteers past and present, whose continued support, time and enthusiasm help make the Drop In such a special place.
