Weddings
The Alnwick Garden is a truly unique setting for the most wonderful weddings, and with a licence to hold civil marriages and civil partnerships, The Garden can host ceremonies as well as celebrations. Wedding guests can enjoy the beauty of the gardens, which are a perfect backdrop for photographs to treasure, along with delicious menus and lovely service.
Whether for an intimate and relaxed event or a more formal and lavish affair, The Garden has special spaces with incredible views, and a team dedicated to giving you a dream day.
WEDDING FAIR
To be inspired and plan your big day, visit The Alnwick Garden between 11am and 3pm on Sunday 7th March to meet the events team, see the spaces and meet suppliers. Admission to the wedding fair is free of charge.
*Includes admission to the wedding fair only. Tickets are required to also visit The Garden.
THE PAVILION
Ceremonies take place in a light and contemporary space overlooking one of the
world’s most exciting gardens, with a majestic view. The Pavilion Room can hold civil
marriages and civil partnerships for up to 150 guests with celebratory drinks served
on terraces with captivating views. Up to 500 guests can join the party, with dinner
overlooking the Grand Cascade, and dancing under the stars and above thousands
of twinkling lights on The Pavilion’s terrace.
THE TREEHOUSE
The Treehouse offers an original place to hold smaller civil marriage and civil
partnership ceremonies for up to 30 guests, with a warm, intimate atmosphere.
In summer, drinks can be served on the veranda, surrounded by the tree canopy.
In The Treehouse, dinner can be served for up to 85 guests.

CIVIL MARRIAGES AND PARTNERSHIPS
To hold your civil marriage or civil partnership in The Garden, you will need to book a
registrar. Please call Alnwick Register Office on 01665 602 870 to book a registrar and fulfil all of your legal requirements, including payment of the fee, which will not be included within The Alnwick Garden’s charges.
MENUS
Each wedding at The Alnwick Garden is an original, and you can select from our event
menus, as well as provide your own ideas, to create your own perfect menu. Download menus for The Pavilion or The Treehouse, as well as our events wine list.
SPECIAL TOUCHES
The Alnwick Garden works with the very best local suppliers, and is happy to
recommend florists and other partners who can help make your day even more special.
The hire of the existing audiovisual equipment in each of the spaces is included within
the space hire charge. Charges will be made for the hire of additional equipment.
For an additional charge, the Grand Cascade can be lit and set to music, and the terrace lights can be given a chosen colour. With a team dedicated to making your day perfect, everything is possible.
