We are delighted to introduce our official hospitality and catering partner Searcys
Our stunning Pavilion and Treehouse are both available for private and corporate hire.
Hosting your event at The Alnwick Garden helps us deliver our charity and community programmes.
Breath-taking views, a light, contemporary space and exceptional hospitality makes The Pavilion at The Alnwick Garden an extraordinary event venue. From conferences to formal dinners, The Pavilion, designed by Michael Hopkins, is defined by its bright and fresh appearance, making it a memorable space for any occasion.
Host your conference of up to 120 cabaret style or 200 theatre style at The Pavilion with the stunning Alnwick Garden as your backdrop and an exceptional range of healthy menus to keep attendees alert throughout the day.
Searcys hospitality packages draw inspiration from the seasons. They focus on using home-grown produce to create simple, beautifully executed dishes designed to impress guests. The packages include light lunches, BBQs and afternoon teas. Searcys formal dinner and lunch menus guarantee to wow up to 180 guests for dinner and dancing, or 350 guests for reception, with twists on modern British classics.
The Pavilion can provide the perfect space for product launches and experiential events for up to 350, or up to 1,000 including use of the atrium. A contemporary and modern space, the Pavilion looks striking with or without decoration and our event organisers are always on-hand to plan your event.
A truly one of its kind, The Treehouse is available for private hire for celebrations, special events and weddings.
Enormous and beautifully crafted, The Treehouse is built from sustainably sourced Canadian cedar, Scandinavian redwood and English and Scots pine. It sits high in the treetops in a copse of mature lime trees and looks as if it has been there forever.
Opened in January 2005, The Treehouse is spread across 6,000 sq ft of complex buildings, linked by suspended walkways, all accessible by wheelchair and buggy.
The Treehouse Restaurant can be found at the heart of the structure, beautiful and unique, with a log fire in the centre, trees growing from the floor, handcrafted wooden tables and chairs and screens created from fallen branches.
We have created a special events menu using the best produce available locally. Plaice is caught fresh from the sea just outside Whitley Bay, and served with purple potatoes from Carrols Castle Heaton, located 32 miles from the estate, an example of Searcys’ drive in using the best of local produce.
The Treehouse Restaurant cocktail menu pays homage to the Duchess of Northumberland, with a variation of five cocktails named after Her Grace, and featuring Alnwick’s very own white and dark rum. The light-hearted cocktail list has been created in collaboration with Jane, Duchess of Northumberland. These include Desirable Jane, a refreshing mix of Alnwick White Rum, lime juice, sugar, soda water and mint, and Deadly Jane, made from apricot brandy, orange, pineapple and lime juice, passion fruit syrup and grenadine.
Situated high on the decking of The Treehouse, the Potting Shed is ideal for a morning coffee, light lunch or afternoon cake.
The Potting Shed provides a selection of light lunches, children’s boxes and tea and cake, and even indulgent cocktails within an enchanting atmosphere of the woodland canopy. If you fancy a satisfying lunch but do not want a full restaurant meal, this is the perfect place for a rest.
