What is a Hate Crime?
Hate crime is any criminal offence that is targeted at a person or group of people because of prejudice or hostility, such as race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or disability.
The main objective of National Hate Crime Awareness Week #NationalHCAW is to encourage the authorities (local, regional, national and international), key partners and communities affected by hate crime to work together to tackle local hate crime issues.
