The Alnwick Garden is one of the world’s most exciting contemporary gardens; a fantastic place for groups visiting together and of unique interest to the independent traveller.
As the bold vision of the Duchess of Northumberland, this progressive project has generated interest at home and abroad, with more than half a million people visiting every year. Those who have already visited are amazed by the maturity of the themed gardens, and new visitors delight in the landscape’s many surprises.
And The Alnwick Garden experience is growing. This year we have planted a beautiful orchard of hundreds of Tai Haku cherry trees, programming many free performances, activities and tours, and expanding our shopping ranges.
