Are dogs allowed in The Garden?

Unfortunately only guide dogs are permitted in The Garden (including the Woodland Walk), but there are many beautiful dog-friendly walks in and around Alnwick - including in the pastures behind Alnwick Castle. Please ask a member of staff in admissions if you would like more information about places to walk your dog.

Alternatively, there is a local dog kennel called Happy Hounds where you can leave your dog from 1 hour to all day, costing £4.95 per hour or £20 per day. Contact them by calling 01665 572425 or emailing info@happy-hounds.biz.

When will The Garden be open in 2013?

The Garden will be open from 29th March - 2nd November, 10am-6pm. Winter opening times beyond 2nd November may vary.

Very occasionally The Garden may have to close early due to unforeseen circumstances. In the instance of such a closure, the amended opening times would be published on the Opening Times and Tickets and Prices pages.

Can I visit the Treehouse Restaurant without buying a Garden admission ticket?

Of course! But remember that the Treehouse Restaurant is very popular so it's definitely recommended to book a table before you plan to visit - call 01665 511852 for more information or to book a table.
