The Alnwick Garden, a charity, is a living landscape of ideas and opportunities for people. As a charity, we can claim tax back from the government called Gift Aid if you buy a Friends subscription or a ticket that includes a donation, if you are a UK taxpayer. To us, Gift Aid is worth an extra £28 for every £100 of tickets we sell, it increases the value of your donation to us and helps to bring the landscape to life.

Prices are valid from 1st April 2006.

The Alnwick Garden has been created with children in mind, who will find fun, exciting and interesting experiences throughout The Garden. Lots of the water can be played in, and it's easy to get wet so please bring a change of clothes. Younger visitors can run through the Grand Cascade's jets, drive the miniature tractors and collect water in their buckets or splash in the rills. They can also visit the Poison Garden to hear gruesome stories about nasty plants, play hide and seek in the secret places in the Ornamental Garden or run along The Treehouse's rope bridges to see how much they wobble. The Treehouse is a wonderful place for families to eat together, with great menu choices for children, and there are also lovely spots to enjoy a picnic. Throughout the year we have a programme of events and workshops for younger visitors, see What's on for programme details.

The Garden is an all-weather attraction and there are steps and slopes, so we'd suggest coming prepared for the season wearing sensible footwear.

The Alnwick Garden is for everyone and so we strive to be accessible to all. This includes The Treehouse, which is accessed by ramp, and the extraordinary aerial walkways which are accessible to everyone, including wheelchair users. We have wheelchairs available for hire, just call 01665 511350 before you visit and we will reserve one for you. We also provide easy access parking facilities, and there is a drop-off/collection point close to The Garden for people who have mobility difficulty. Assistance dogs are welcome in The Garden.
