Donations
We are currently focusing our fundraising on Phase Three of The Garden's development and our charitable programmes. We still have more to do to achieve all our charitable aims, and there are rare opportunities for individuals, companies and trusts to become involved in the future of The Alnwick Garden. Working closely with donors, we can find ways in which their gift not only makes a significant contribution to vision of The Alnwick Garden but complements charitable, business or personal objectives.
We need your help to realise the completion of The Alnwick Garden and its unique vision. Any public sector or Lottery funding usually requires some level of match funding from private sources to ensure we can access the funding. Donations received will therefore be doubly valuable to The Alnwick Garden Trust as they will also lever public sector or Lottery support.
Below are some examples of how gifts may be put to good use. Any gifts can be made over a period of time and tax efficiently. Through the current Gift Aid system, a gift of £10,000 will only cost £7,690 to the higher rate tax payer and be worth £12,820 to The Trust. There are also Gift Aid benefits to companies and donors of shares.
