Getting to The Garden
The Alnwick Garden lies in the centre of the market town of Alnwick, our closest neighbour is Alnwick Castle. We are just a five minute walk from the town centre so we are easy to reach by car or public transport.
By Car and Coach
Take the A1 junction north of Alnwick signposted to Denwick following the yellow signs on the A1. Brown tourist signs then direct you to The Garden.

By Bus
ere are regular bus services connecting Alnwick with Newcastle and surrounding towns.
By Train
Alnmouth is the nearest railway station (4 miles away) on the main London to Edinburgh east coast route. A taxi or bus can be taken from Alnmouth to Alnwick
By Air and Sea
Newcastle upon Tyne (35 miles) has regular ferry services from Scandinavia and Holland. International and domestic flights land at Newcastle airport.
