The Garden for the Senses
About The Feature
An eclectic mix of plants has been selected to provide the experience of touch and smell with water providing interesting sounds. Set in raised beds, the plants are at a height accessible to all. It is planned that all children will use a wheelchair and blindfolds and experience the importance of the senses. They will understand, first hand, how much we rely on sight and how our alternative senses can be just as important.
We are currently seeking funding for this garden but hope to be able to announce a start date and anticipated completion date soon. Keep checking our news page for development information.
