We do acknowledge all donations and although we do follow a donor recognition policy, we can tailor a recognition package specific to your needs – if for example you would like to make a corporate donation we can arrange appropriate PR and marketing benefits. |

Gift Aid
As a registered charity we are participants in the Gift Aid scheme, this means that, with your permission, we can claim back the tax on any donations you make to The Garden. This can turn every £1 into £1.28.

When you make a donation to The Alnwick Garden Trust look out for the Gift Aid clause at the bottom of your donation form. By ticking the Gift Aid box you will be increasing the value of your contribution to us at no extra cost to yourself. |

Notes on Gift Aid: |
| 1) You must pay an amount of UK income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that The Alnwick Garden Trust claims on you donations in the tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give) |
| 2) You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying The Alnwick Garden Trust |
| 3) If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay UK tax on your income and/or capital gains equal to the tax The Alnwick garden Trust reclaims, you can cancel your declaration |
| 4)If you pay UK tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your UK Self Assessment |
