Silver birch tree
Over 120 silver birch trees have been planted around the pond at the foot of the Cherry Orchard, one of the most tranquil and picturesque areas of The Garden. With their graceful and unusual white branches the birch trees are a beautiful addition to The Garden and, in spring, are surrounded by over a hundred thousand snowdrops.
In return for your donation of £200 you will receive a personalised gift pack, including a commemorative silver tea light holder and a copy of the Alnwick Garden Souvenir Guidebook. Sponsorship includes the opportunity to write a dedication in our donor book and an invitation to a special dedication ceremony each spring.
Cherry tree
One of The Alnwick Garden's most beautiful and tranquil areas is the Cherry Orchard - in the spring, the Orchard becomes a cloud of delicate white blossom hovering over a sea of pink 'Mistress' tulips.
The sponsorship of one of the elegant cherry trees makes a wonderful and lasting gift. For a donation of £250, you can pick your special tree and will receive a sponsorship pack which includes a mounted photograph of your tree and a Dunoon china cherry blossom mug, You'll also have the opportunity to make an entry in our Donor Book to record the reason for your donation.
Rose Garden
There are more than 3000 David Austin Roses in the Rose Garden, with its pathways gracefully winding through tumbling masses of fragrant roses beneath pergolas swathed in honeysuckle and clematis.
For a donation of £50 to The Alnwick Garden Trust you can select which variety of rose you would like to sponsor. You will receive a beautiful gift bag containing a certificate of sponsorship, a mounted photograph of the variety of rose you have chosen, and an Alnwick Garden rose pen and pin badge.
Chairs or benches
In the summer, The Garden comes to life with the blooming of the roses, spectacular multi-coloured arbours, and the flowering of the delphiniums in the Ornamental Garden.
Many families who lose a loved one often find comfort in visiting a place that has a special meaning to them and to the person they have lost. If you or anyone you know is looking for a beautiful place to remember someone then do get in touch.
There are chairs and benches in many different places around The Garden; surrounded by the scent and colour of the Rose Garden or amongst the tranquillity of the Himalayan birch trees and spring bulbs around the Pond. For a donation of £400 you can choose a chair, or a bench for £800, and add a plaque with the wording of your choice to provide a beautiful place to sit and remember.
