When planning your visit take into account the unique features of The Garden. Our Teachers Guide will help you plan your visit so that everyone enjoys the experience of The Garden.

The layout of The Garden does not lend itself to large group activities. To experience the sight and sound of the water features it is essential that you divide your party into groups with a designated adult supervisor who takes responsibility for the group.

As you are aware extra care has to be taken around water.

The appointed group leaders/responsible adults must take responsibility for the management of the children in their care during their stay in The Garden.

•	Our water sprays and jets are lots of fun but you may get wet, come prepared with a change of clothes.
•	The fountains and pools require close adult supervision do not allow children to climb.
•	We are a working garden please be aware of garden machinery and obey health and safety signs.

•	The Ornamental Garden is a place for quiet contemplation, please walk at all times and stay on the paths.
•	Ball games are not allowed in The Garden.
•	The tractors by the Grand Cascade are for children aged 7 and under.
•	If the weather is fine you may picnic on the grass in The Garden. We recommend packed lunches are brought in backpacks so they can be carried around The Garden easily.
