The Alnwick Garden Trust
The Alnwick Garden is managed by an independent registered charity: The Alnwick Garden Trust (Registration No. 1095435). The Trust is responsible for delivering clear charitable objectives, as well as for capital fundraising and the development, management and maintenance of the project. It is also the body that holds the capital assets in trust.
The Trust seeks to dramatically change the cultural environment for the better, and to help people transform their conceptions, expectations and aspirations, and those of their communities through six key strands of activity:
- encouraging learning and skill development
- ensuring access and activity addressing disability
- encouraging outdoor play
- promoting healthy activity and wellbeing
- enabling experiences of the arts
- supporting the local economy
