TULIP FESTIVAL
The Alnwick Garden’s first Tulip Festival with De Jager bulbs, will feature beautiful displays of 10 000 tulips, in vases and planted in the Roots and Shoots Garden. The Courtyard Room will become a riot of colour, and you’ll have the chance to meet De Jager’s experts, and order next year’s bulbs. Enjoy the wonderful sight of nearly 200 000 pink Mistress tulips planted beneath the trees in the Cherry Orchard, and the almost-black Queen of the Night in the Ornamental Garden. There will be tours running throughout the day, check the blackboard on arrival.
Cherry Blossom Festival family workshops
During the Easter holidays, make Japanese lanterns and kites in family workshops to prepare for the Cherry Blossom Festival on 6th, 9th, 13th, 14th and 15th April. Drop in to all workshops 11.30am – 3.30pm
